Our products address the worldwide market.
About the team:
The Infrastructure and Network Development Team – part of Domains and Global Platform Hosting Department - is responsible for the development of internal tooling used for 1&1 Internet / IONOS, both backend platform and frontend management UIs. We are an experienced team developing applications and tools that are used in a very complex ecosystem. Active projects are focusing on developing Orchestrators for Datacenter and Network infrastructure. We are staying in contact with DevOps technologies like Kubernetes / OpenShift, Docker containers, Jenkins and others. We are working in a very friendly environment and we support each team member to evolve and learn new technologies. We have a proficiency in Open Source technologies and encourage every member to become a contributor to different Open Source projects.
Main responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy and monitor features within existing team portfolio of Internal infra & network tooling;
- Create and work with high-performance and high-scale distributed microservices;
- Implement frontend applications;
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, from testing stage to production;
- Work independently when needed with minimal supervision
- Create technical concepts when needed;
- Work with colleagues and peer teams, both local and abroad;
- Implementation of REST APIs for backend services;
- Write unit and integration tests;
- Participate to the team ceremonies.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Strong Java language and ecosystem knowledge with a 4+ years experience;
- Spring and Hibernate/JPA;
- Strong frontend development abilities, Angular preferred;
- Good command of software design patterns and architectural concepts;
- Ability to take on technical concepts and deliver solution for project initiatives;
- Microservice oriented architecture, performance and scalability concerns;
- Experience with building RESTful Web Services;
- Experience with build tools and versioning systems (Jenkins, Maven, GIT, Sonar);
- Experience with cloud-native environments such as Docker, Kubernetes;
- Good written and verbal English skills.
