Role
- Analyze hardware failures from series production and returns from customer;
- Analyze and test new hardware products;
- Create test cases in correlation with customer requirements;
- Create test reports and documentation according to the engineering and production quality processes;
- Setup and modify laboratory test environment to perform root cause investigation;
- Debug Software of hardware device under test;
- Develop automation test and processes;
- Coordinate and support validation process of product;
- Build-up and re-work electronic samples;
- Coordinate the review meetings and validate the results with the project team;
- Keeping up to date and programming the testing equipment
Requirements
Education:
• Electronics, Electrical engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or similar fields;
Know-how:
• Hands-on experience in soldering and sample build;
• Familiar with testing equipment (power supplies, multi-meter, oscilloscope)
• Basic knowledge in manufacturing and testing;
• Experience with problem solving tools (Ishikawa, 8D etc.)
• Microsoft Office medium skills;
• Build-up and re-work electronic samples;
Advantages if you have:
• Experience with design tools (simulation, engineering calculation, schematic design);
• Experience with sensors actuator and communication protocols (CAN, SPI, LIN, I2C, FlexRay);
• LabVIEW software know-how;
Personality:
• Good communication skills and you like to share your knowledge with our junior colleagues;
Languages spoken:
• Fluency in English; German can be an advantage;
Nice to have:
• Willingness to undertake business trips abroad for trainings and project work
