Role
- Support the team (lead by content) with daily tasks, inspire the team by your passion for electronics;
- Work on key technologies used in the vast majority of our automotive applications;
- Be responsible for competence growth inside the team by actively sharing your skills;
- Involve in recruitment of hardware design engineers;
- Review and signoff all hardware design related documents (schematics, FMEAs, ECRs etc.);
- Track regularly the quality, budget and productivity targets for the entire team;
- Define and implement countermeasures in case of target deviations;
- Cooperate with international development partners and Bosch production plants;
- Report regularly to management about project status (risks, issues etc.);
- Meet regularly with the internal and external customers (OEM’s)
Requirements
Education:
• University or technical college degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable;
Minimum experience in the field:
• At least 3 years of experience in hardware design;
• Leadership experience with small teams;
Know-how:
• Familiar with existing design methods like FMEA, DFMA, V-Model;
Personality:
• Efficient work style with very good coordination skills;
• The ability to adapt and to synthesize;
• Authentic, transparent and cooperative personality enjoying intercultural experiences and working in international teams;
• Self-confident, willing to accept responsibility and to stand up for decisions taken;
• The ability to cope with stressful situations;
Languages spoken:
• Fluency in English; German can be an advantage;
Nice to have:
• Willingness to undertake business trips abroad for trainings and project work
