Role

The position is located in Bucharest, Romania.

 

The Technical Support Engineer will work in shifts and will have the following responsibilities:

 

  • Monitor customers’ networks and act according to the relevant process
  • Answer to service requests from Ceragon customers
  • Support Ceragon engineers in the regions
  • Follow helpdesk process to support service request
  • Work in lab to re-produce field issues and for self-training

Requirements

The ideal candidate has the following:

 

Must:

  1. Electronic/Telecommunications/Computer engineer (BA/BSc)
  2. Proven knowledge of IP Networking (TCP/IP and OSI stack)
  3. L2 protocols (VLAN, Q-in-Q, STP, LLDP, etc)
  4. L3 Routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP, etc.)
  5. Proven knowledge Microwave / Radio communications systems

 

  1. Proven excellent English knowledge - fluent in reading, writing and speaking
  2. Willing to work in shifts, including weekends
  3. Customer oriented
  4. Solution focused
  5. Excellent communication skills

 

 

Advantage:

  1. Proven knowledge and experience with:
  2. Experience in installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of microwave communication systems
  3. 2-3 years of experience with interfacing customers (support, presale)
  4. CCNA or equivalent knowledge
  5. Proven knowledge of PDH, SDH, Synchronization
  6. SNMP, Radius, TACACS+
