Role
The position is located in Bucharest, Romania.
The Technical Support Engineer will work in shifts and will have the following responsibilities:
- Monitor customers’ networks and act according to the relevant process
- Answer to service requests from Ceragon customers
- Support Ceragon engineers in the regions
- Follow helpdesk process to support service request
- Work in lab to re-produce field issues and for self-training

Requirements
The ideal candidate has the following:
Must:
- Electronic/Telecommunications/Computer engineer (BA/BSc)
- Proven knowledge of IP Networking (TCP/IP and OSI stack)
- L2 protocols (VLAN, Q-in-Q, STP, LLDP, etc)
- L3 Routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP, etc.)
- Proven knowledge Microwave / Radio communications systems
- Proven excellent English knowledge - fluent in reading, writing and speaking
- Willing to work in shifts, including weekends
- Customer oriented
- Solution focused
- Excellent communication skills
Advantage:
- Proven knowledge and experience with:
- Experience in installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of microwave communication systems
- 2-3 years of experience with interfacing customers (support, presale)
- CCNA or equivalent knowledge
- Proven knowledge of PDH, SDH, Synchronization
- SNMP, Radius, TACACS+
