Role
Overview:
Everyday DB observes thousands of intrusion attempts. Integrated in Deutsche Bank’s Chief Security Office (CSO), the Information Security Operations team is responsible for mitigating these risks. The Information Security Operations team enables the business of Deutsche Bank by providing agile security operational capabilities. The teams: Cyber Threat Operations, Malware Response & Cyber Forensics, Security Monitoring, Incident Response, and Cyber Hygiene provides global services from key locations in Eschborn, Jacksonville, Singapore, and India.
Our Cloud Operations team is focused on developing and executing multi-dimensional cloud strategies that consider the platform, architecture, security, organizational and financial aspects of adopting cloud technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Work in a team which is point of contact for all cloud related questions regarding vulnerability management and Cyber Hygiene
- Engage with cloud teams and ensure that cyber hygiene requirements are understood and considered / develop user stories
- Facilitate and integration of vulnerability scanning in cloud into existing and future DB Cyber Hygiene processes (scanning – analysis – remediation – communication)
- Communicate and advise, track vulnerabilities and risk in clouds and support prioritization of remediation activities. Engage with technology stakeholders to drive remediation. Engage with senior stakeholders to provide overview of vulnerabilities and threat level.
Requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Strong problem solving skills: analytical skills, innovative and creative thinking, a lateral mindset, adaptability and flexibility, level-headedness, initiative
- Strong communication skills; confident in speaking and presenting to stakeholders; holding and moderating workshops with multiple stakeholders; preparing professional communication material (e.g. presentations)
- (Project) management skills; experience of working in projects; creating project plans and work breakdown structure, delivering (and managing delivery) against that plan; creating and maintaining communication plans; managing requirements
- Strong experience in Cyber Security, in particular in technical vulnerability management and threat management
- Strong cloud knowledge; understanding of cloud architecture and characteristics; experience in implementing information security controls in cloud environment and establishing an information security monitoring system (risk management system) in a cloud
Preferred:
- Experience with either one or multiple of the following cloud providers: Google cloud (preferred!), Oracle cloud, Amazon cloud, Microsoft cloud
- Experience of working in the financial sector, understanding regulatory requirements towards financial institutions and threats specific for financial institutions
