The Edenred Digital Center (EDC) in Bucharest, Romania is Edenred Group's largest Digital hub for strategic Tech projects.

Job description and key responsibilities

The Support Developer is responsible of 5 main activities:

1. Analyze application logs and alerts

Goal: Monitor application logs and performance

Main activities:

  • Daily checks
  • Contact dev team if needed
  • Contact business 1st line if needed
  • Enhancing the supervision & alerts KPIs
  • Providing resolution step to IT Ops team

Deliverables: Bug analyze, Bug tracking, documentation for IT Ops of resolution, dashboard creation

Skills: Communication, proactive mindset, data query

2. Analyze and report customer issues

Goal: Understand the business process that is not working as expected

Main activities:

  • Contact Business 1st line to understand the issue
  • Analyze the issue
  • Report the issue to the development team

Deliverables: Bug analysis, Bug tracking.

Skills: Communication, SQL, Azure Data Solutions (blob storage, Event hub, Azure Data Factory)

3. Recurring meetings with business 1st line

Goal: Report progress on current bug fixing

Main activities:

  • Follow the development team activities to inform the business 1st line of the current progress

Deliverables: Report on open bugs, Meeting notes

Skills: Communication, understanding of business needs, fluent English

4. Release packaging and notes

Goal: Reviewing all changes that have been made for a given release to be sure of the scope delivered and the quality of it.

Main activities:

  • Review all features that are encompassed in a release,
  • Make sure with dev team & business 1st line that they have been tested,
  • If needed, for technical changes without business requirements, performing tests with the dev. team,
  • Writing and communicate release note

Deliverables: Tests plan, release note.

Skills: Testing skills, ability to work with other teams

5. Roll-out supervision in new countries of Data application

This part of the job profile will not be part of the position from day 1, but is likely to be the part of it  

Goal: Supervising deployments of Data Solution whenever limited adaptation need to be made.

Main activities:

  • Review with Business Team the need
  • Validate each step of the deployment
  • Test the deployment
  • Communicate tests result

Deliverables: Deployment planning, dev team coordination, IT Ops Coordination, deployment validation.

Skills: Planning management, ability to work with other teams


Required skills & profile

Candidates will have to demonstrate:

  • Good communication skills, listening & understanding
  • Good teamwork
  • English fluent
  • 2+ years experience in SQL,
  • 2+ years experience in Agile methodology (Scrum)
