We are looking for:
Would you like to be part of the young team developing the top e-commerce application in Romania? We are looking for a passionate and experienced Android Developer to join the mobile team at our eMAG IT Hub in Iasi, who will be responsible for creating and maintaining features in the eMAG Android application.
You will be working alongside other developers from different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, complex design, and the creation of quality products is essential.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features;
- Maintain the already implemented features and come up with improvements;
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs;
- Help maintain the code quality, performance, and ensure the best quality and responsiveness of the app;
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Testers to understand requirements and to transform specs into features;
- Work as a strong, agile, team player while demonstrating effective time management to meet deadlines;
- Keep up with the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
- Proven 3+ years experience in developing native mobile Android applications, preferred in an Agile environment;
- Have published one or more Android apps in the Play Store;
- Kotlin and Android SDK;
- MVVM and Clean Code knowledge;
- Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services;
- Familiarity with tools like Git, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, BitBucket.
Will be a plus:
- Reactive Programming experience;
- Experience with taking part in the lifecycle of a large product;
- Experience with testing multi-language apps;
- Automated tests.
