Role
We are looking to add a Mid-Senior DevOps Engineer to our team in Iasi.
In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that implements the rider care applications: tools to be used by dealers, servicemen, and riders to ensure low maintenance costs and quick service solutions.
Your effort will focus on infrastructure automation, release management, enhancing security practices, and bringing improvements to existing processes.
You will be part of our team in Iasi and will also connect with team members from our client in the USA.

Your Responsibilities
- Contribute to deployment and configuration of new software components releases
- Contribute to building a secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure for the software components of the product
- Design and implement adjustments of the continuous delivery pipelines, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated environment provisioning
- Perform system monitoring & alerting (development through production environments), verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources and software components, reviewing system and application logs
- Provide on-call support duties for application servers (during business hours)
- Interact, develop, and communicate with groups on all levels of the project team; work with development, QA, architecture, and project management teams to streamline the build-deploy-test cycle
Requirements
Your Competencies
- Strong knowledge of AWS Configuration management (nice to have Elastic Beanstalk and Elastic Container Service; also Terraform)
- Proven work-experience with continuous delivery/ deployment
- Experience with continuous integration tools (nice to have CircleCI and/or Jenkins)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker), writing Dockerfiles
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration/engineering
- Basic SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL)
- Experience with web and application servers – installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and securing against known vulnerabilities (Nginx, Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, Apache Proxy, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of scripting technologies: Windows (Batch, PowerShell), Linux (Bash, Python)
- Familiarity with load balancing solutions, firewalls, proxy servers, APIs gateways, etc.
- Experience consuming REST API Services in Bash/Python, testing API endpoints in cURL, Postman
- Experience with Git (command line) and GitHub UI
- Great communication skills
- Good command of English
