Role
The Mission:
Collaboration and cooperation within the ING Global Compliance Centre (IGCC) is based on knowledge and expertise and uses data analytics where possible. Working with a variety of internal stakeholders offers an environment which not only provides the global overview on how the various Compliance requirements and controls are embedded, yet also provides the opportunity the further support the enhancement of the global control framework.
Currently we are looking to complete our team with a position in IGCC to support Robotic Process Automation. In this role you will be working closely with the Robotic Process Automation and Management reporting experts in Amsterdam. The role requires you to be in the lead of providing the ING business and functions with standardized, automated solutions in the area of various activities performed by IGCC (on process, control, and digital solutions, etc.) as well as support to realize operational excellence.
Your Day-to-Day:
- You analyze business requirements for the development of products and services in the scope of ING Global Compliance Center and play a supporting role in the development and execution of digital roadmaps (Quarterly Business Review);
- You work with colleagues from the IGCC to identify business needs and opportunities in the area of Robotic Process Automation & Management Information Reporting;
- You identify and help translate the business processes to technical solutions that are compliant and fit-for-purpose;
- You develop automation tools for operational teams;
- Identify new technologies or tools able to ease or speed-up the development and testing process;
- You stimulate (cross-border) interaction and alignment between people, local organization and central teams e.g. in Amsterdam;
- You ensure compliance with ING’s policies and standards;
- You contribute to the ING One Way of Working and safeguard the Orange Code;
- You refine the stories that are aligned with the objectives of the product and process;
- You refine stories in a straightforward and executional way to optimize velocity;
- Analyse internal processes and work with employees to ensure the system correctly models their latest process.
Requirements
What you bring to the team:
- You can simplify solutions and processes and tell the story clearly to various (international) stakeholders;
- You take the bigger picture into account and look beyond your direct responsibility;
- Master or Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science is nice to have);
- Working experience as a Business Analyst/Process Manager;
- Working experience with Robotic Process Automation and/ or Management reporting – nice to have;
- Working experience within the areas of Conflict of Interest, Financial Economic Crime, Anti Money Laundering or Compliance;
- Exposure to automation tool;
- Understanding of SQL or no-SQL databases;
- You have experience in translating regulatory requirements into functional designs and/or processes;
- Experience/ affinity with process and/ or tooling implementation;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Experience/affinity with innovation, data and IT;
- Experience in guiding and realizing regulatory change;
- Strong communicative, networking and influencing skills;
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
