The Mission:
The Global Engineering Platform is one of the strategic initiatives which enables ING to become one global bank. This is done with providing a way of working to all ING engineers in more than 40 different countries with a software collaboration and delivery platform which supports the one way of working.
The purpose of Global Engineering Platform is to enable ING to be within its IT Risk Appetite and to reduce the cost of compliance for ING and each individual DevOps teams by providing solutions for entity wide IT Risk controls. We assist our ING Engineers Globally in being successful by providing them a compliant CI/CD pipeline on which they can rely on for the bulk of the IT Risk and IT Security Controls.
The goal of the team is to create Azure DevOps functions and extensions in order to automate and optimize the development process for more than 10.000 engineers across ING Group, so that developers can focus only on engineering.
