The Mission:

ING’s future aim is to be the next generation digital bank, offering a single digital platform or “ecosystem” where customers can find solutions to all of their financial and finance-related needs. This platform will provide a customer experience that is clear, convenient and consistent across borders, and will be open to selected third-party products and services.

To enable execution of the Think Forward strategy, ING has setup a Global Transformation Office (GTO) which is a team that works closely with CEO/COO and ING Board, as well as representatives from all business units and functions under the COO, and stakeholders across the Bank.


Your Day to Day:

  • Participate in the implementation of the Process Management Strategy, aligning to the Group Strategy;
  • Responsible for driving the discovery, planning and implementation of the initiatives leading to continuous improvement;
  • Document and update the company processes according to the BPMN methodology;
  • Collaborates with Process Experts Community to align on the Global initiatives;
  • Recommend improvement solutions for more efficient processes;
  • Suggest new methods to improve the monitoring of the process efficiency;
  • Contribute to the creation of the framework for process monitoring and improvement;
  • Constantly monitor the agreed KPIs and re-evaluate their relevance against the organizational and market changes;
  • Recommend solutions for process automation, align with the responsible teams and monitor the implementation;
  • Participate in the implementation of process improvement initiatives, being responsible for:
  • Evaluating process improvement proposals against the chosen methodology (ex. Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen);
  • Contributing to the project planning;
  • Executing the assigned tasks, following the agreed timeline;
  • Working with Project Team to identify and mitigate the risks associated with the initiative.
  • Evaluate the impact of the IBSS initiatives against the existing processes and work with the project teams. The purpose is to support the implementation of the initiatives, without process disruptions;
  • Provide training sessions on Process Management.


Who are we looking for?

  • Academic background;
  • 5-7 years relevant working experience:
  • Experience in process design, measurement and improvement;
  • Experience in working with process frameworks and standard;
  • Experience in working in a global organizations with different cultures and maturity levels.
