Molson Coors Beverage Company is looking for a highly motivated BI & Analytics Team Leader working in Bucharest, Romania and part of North American IT Solution Delivery team.

As a BI & Analytics Team Leader you will be a part of the Business Intelligence and Analytics IT team. 

You specialize in technical analysis, design, and optimizing the development and testing of solutions focused on our global data, sales, service, and marketing technology stack. 

You work across our international business units to build and deliver on a strategic roadmap enabling Molson Coors to offer an exceptional customer experience and win in the marketplace.  You’re deep technical and functional knowledge of data enables faster ideation and creation of new or improved business capabilities.  Your communication skill allows you to fluently interact with customers and stakeholders as you collaborate, influence, and develop the technology stack taking into consideration insights from design sessions, business processes, and changes to business models. 


The position is based in Bucharest, Romania, part of MC GBS Romania Development Center (RDC) and will report to the BI & Analytics Manager in Bucharest.

  • Thought leader, driving innovative adoption and use of technology and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and peers to understand business strategies, tactics, and plans. 
  • Partner with business and IT peers to solve complex problems with sustainable, resilient, supportable solutions.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of business intelligence and analytics to analyze, design, and optimize the development and testing of solutions.
  • As an Agile team member, participate in all Agile processes and ceremonies with a focus on continuous improvement.  
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate or modernize technical debt. 
  • Provide subject matter expertise (functional and technical) to colleagues such as Enterprise Architects, Information Technology Business Partners, and Business Report Owners/Expert User.
  • Understand the learning journey is never over.  Strive to continually build skills, knowledge, and experience.  Seek learning from many places: formal classroom, books, blogs, podcasts, seminars, colleagues.

The Qualifications [HOW we expect the employees to work]:


  • A bachelor’s degree, ideally in a related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of Data Architecture and Integration design, development, and solutions experience serving in a lead role.
  • Solid understanding of Data Architecture and Integration.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Familiar with ETL tools such as SAP Data Services, Informatica, Datastage, Talend.
  • Advanced knowledge and technical skills in several of the following Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions:  BEx, Business Objects, Analysis for Office, HANA, Tableau, Power BI, Teradata (or other data warehouse technology), and Salesforce
  • You are an Agile practitioner with knowledge of scaling methods, preferably SAFe.
  • You act with appropriate urgency to complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.
  • You are organized and willing to help solution across technology (e.g. Data warehouse, Tableau, Salesforce integration, Anaplan integration, testing).
  • You are a leader that can inspire others; you respect your commitments and are able to obtain optimal results through respect and development.
  • Your constant curiosity fosters your innovative style.
  • You love a challenge.


  • Bachelor’s science degree in Computer Science, Automation, Electronics, IT or a related discipline
  • Professional training, accreditation, or certification in select Business Intelligence or Analytics
  • Experience in Waterfall/Agile/Scrum/DevOps methodologies & frameworks and related tools (eg. Jira)
  • Experience in working with 3rd Party Service Providers (vendors)
  • Three full life-cycle system implementation experiences, or five full life-cycle major system “change” initiatives, serving in a hands-on role involving Business Intelligence or Analytics solutions.
  • Oversight of 1-5 indirect or direct reports, particularly oversight of the design of BI/Analytics solutions.
  • Requires understanding of how the assigned duties integrate in the team/sub-function and how they contribute to the overall objectives of the area.
