George was born in 2017 in ERSTE, as a start-up like approach for a modern banking solutions. In Romania, the pilot phase started in march 2018. In BCR, we are raising it. We are handling the authentication, local APIs and store, where we’ve added during last years features like: opening current accounts, deposits, cards, digital lending – personal loan, overdraft, credit card, refinancing, early loan repayment, personal insurances, top-up, moneyback, multibanking, pensions, investments, apple and google pay.

The real challenge is to have it all above qualities and also to make weekly changes all year long without breaking anything; that requires Agile mindset in design, development, automation testing, secdevops, security testing, standards, well defined processes, efficient monitoring and troubleshooting proactively upfront, detecting any problem before the client will be impacted.
