Who are we

We, Loginro Digital S.R.L. ("Loginro"), are  a tech community of professionals from Romania dedicated to individuals and businesses. We developed an initiative that helps you search for a job or candidates online. Loginro owns and manages Loginro.com - dedicated to companies which are recruiting or people who are seeking jobs.

Where do we take your data from

Generally, the personal data we collect are provided by you by email, through our website, social media networks, or during your visits to our headquarters.

When we have an active recruitment process, we will collect data about you from specialized online platforms (eJobs, LinkedIn, etc.) or from CVs you send us directly, or through open recruitment projects in specialized online platforms.

Also, when you interact with us on social networks (i.e. likes, shares, comments, reviews, etc.), we will inevitably have access to information about you, especially data that you have made public on your social media profile. 

In addition, we will use this data to update our database and send you, to the extent permitted by law, occasional offers and information about new products, services and other items that may interest you.

How do we use your personal data

Please find below the purposes for which we process your data, the persons which have access to your data, and how we store it.

We collect information about you when you open an account on our platform as a recruiter

We use this information to ease your access to the recruitment services that we offer through the platform Loginro.com.

After you open an account on our platform, you will be able to:

• Sign up for events or hackathons
• Publish and manage recruitment announcements, publish articles
• View the profiles of the Candidates that best fit the criteria defined by the Company

We recommend you the following features when setting passwords:

○ Include both uppercase and lowercase letters (for example a-z and A-Z).

○ Include numbers and special characters (e.g.! @ # $% ^ & * () _ + =} {: ”?> <).

○ Include at least six alphanumeric characters.

○ Do not use a word in any language, jargon, dialect, etc.

○ Do not use personal information, last name, etc.

We collect information about you when you open an account on our platform as a job seeker and you create your profile

We use this information to ease your access to the recruitment services that we offer through the platform Loginro.com.

After you open an account on our platform, you will be able to:

• Sign up for events or hackathons
• Add relevant information to your account, upload your CV,
• Apply for jobs published by recruiters
• Influence through polls and research

Registering a job seeker account can be done either by the classic method (registering a valid e-mail and setting a password), or by connecting with an existing user account opened in one of the platforms Facebook, Github, Google, or LinkedIn (collectively called hereinafter Social Networks)

Connecting to our platform with one of your social accounts involves a data transfer between us and the respective social network.

The social networks will share with us personal information about you such as your name, email address, language preference, and profile picture

There is no connection between the user account configured with us and your account on the social network, through the authentication process. However, in order to perform the process of authentication upon registration on the site or authentication in the account, your IP address is transmitted to the social network. We have no influence on the purpose of the collection and further processing of data by those providers.

We collect information about you when you add your details on our platform as a job seeker

In order to fully enjoy our services, job seekers are encouraged to provide us with further details that we make available to recruiters. This information will help recruiters choose the most suitable candidate for them.

Displaying personal data on Loginro

To put you in control of the privacy of your data, Loginro has developed a privacy dashboard in which job seekers have the opportunity to set the level of privacy. We value your privacy more than anything, hence our default setting is to hide the job seeker’s profile details to regular users, including their resumes. 

Within your privacy dashboard you would be able to change if the following information is available to authenticated users and/ or recruiters:

• Basic details: first name, last name, email, phone, website, avatar, summary, location,
• Special links: Facebook profile, LinkedIn profile, Github profile,
• Work experiences,
• Mastered languages,
• Skills,
• Education,
• Projects,
• Followed companies,
• Resumes.

We collect information about you when you complete tasks and jobs for our “Points” function

In order to create a more interactive platform that would benefit both job seekers and recruiters, we have created a function that allows for points to be attributed to job seekers based on their performance. The recruiters will be able to give out points after each task is completed.

We are not responsible for the wrong use of the point system by the recruiters.

We collect information about you when we create polls and research for Loginro

Loginro creates research and whitepapers regarding the IT industry and its growth in Europe or worldwide. For these articles, we might ask our members to answer polls and questionnaires. This is done solely on a voluntary basis.

We will process this data accordingly and anonymize the answers. We will not use any personal information within our research without a prior informed consent from you.

We collect information about you when you register to events and hackathons on our website

In order to create a more interactive platform, you can register to published events or hackathons directly on our website. We collect this data and send it to the third parties that are involved in the organisation of the events. 

We are not responsible for the use of the data by the third parties.

We collect information about you through your participation in various events organised by Longinro

Loginro wants to increase the loyalty of its candidates, clients and partners and to offer as many opportunities to raise awareness and promote the services offered, by participating in various events organized by us, trainings, counseling sessions or programs in the field of IT and programming, but not limited to, which we will generally call "Events".

Usually, these Events, depending on the specifics of each one, benefit from their own regulation or policy. User registration is generally done by communicating a valid e-mail address. Participants who will enjoy certain benefits from participating in these events (eg participation diplomas) will be asked for additional data in order to take possession of those benefits.

Important: It is very likely that during these Events we want to photograph or record video participants, in order to promote the community and Loginro services. Each time we will offer you the opportunity to oppose this processing and we will respect your wish not to be filmed / photographed, giving you a distinctive element (eg a badge of a certain color).

We collect information about you when concluding and executing contracts upon your request

We process in particular the personal data existing in the documents you send to us and the information necessary for the conclusion and performance of contracts.

We collect information about you when you interact with us using the contact details available on the website or on social media 

If you interact with us using the contact details available on the platform or through social networks, we will use your contact details and the data you provide us in order to handle your request.

We may process personal data to improve our services or the way we conduct business relationships with our customers or partners.

In this regard, we process in particular information offered during requests / complaints / comments / reviews that allow us to improve the quality of our services. For this purpose, your personal data is only processed tangentially.

We collect information about you when you interact with us using the social media or when you share information available on the website 

 We can be found on social media on different platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Github, etc.). Whenever you interact with us through our account opened in this platform (eg comments, likes, shares, reviews, etc.) we will have access to publicly available data in your profiles. 

We may process personal data to improve our services or the way we conduct business relationships with our customers or partners.

Commercial communications 

We may send you information about the services we offer if you have required it (via email, contact page or by subscribing to our newsletter) or in case you are already our customer, and this information may be of particular interest for you.

If you no longer wish to receive newsletters or informational materials from us, you have to click on the "Unsubscribe" button available on the emails we sent you, or send us an email expressing your wish to unsubscribe at dpo@longinro.com .

We collect information about you through the interaction with social plugins

The interaction of a user with one of the social plugins on our website, provided by social networks, involves a data exchange between our website and the respective social media network for which the owner of the website is responsible together with the social platform.

It is the responsibility of Loginro.com and of the social platform (as associated operators), to process the personal data shared between us and the social network (for example, cookie ID).

We collect information about you when applying for an open recruitment process within Loginro

You can apply for one of the recruitment processes that we open, published on our website or  on specialized recruitment platforms. Depending on the job opportunity, you can do this by sending your data through  our contact form or through our e-mail address dpo@longinro.com.

Enhancing an easy and pleasant navigation on our website

When you visit our website, we collect data about you through online identifiers (cookies and IP). The website automatically collects certain information and stores them in log files.

We use this information to be able to design our website according to the needs of our users. We may also use your IP address to diagnose any malfunctions of our servers and to manage our website, analyse trends, track visitor movements, and collect general demographic information that helps us identify visitor preferences.

Is the data processed by Loginro.com safe?

We have implemented physical, electronic and managerial security measures to protect and secure the information we collect and process. Remember, however, that no data processing is guaranteed 100% secure!

Important: After the data retention period ends, your data will be deleted. We will continue to use this data only after its irreversible anonymization, in case we believe it could help us improve the quality of our products or services.

International data transfers

Your personal data may be transferred to recipients established outside the European Economic Area. We will ensure that all transfers take place in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including by concluding data transfer contracts if necessary.

Any transfers of personal data to other countries than those for which an adequacy decision has been taken by the European Commission, as listed on the official websites, shall be made on the basis of agreements between parties, using the standard contract clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission or other appropriate guarantees, in accordance with applicable law.

Processing minors’ data

Loginro.com is not intended to be used by minors and does not collect through the website, knowingly, information about children under 18 years old. In case a minor will access and use our website, we will automatically consider that he/she had the consent of his/her legal guardian. If we discover that a minor has used our website without the consent of his/her legal guardian, we will delete all the personal data related to him/her.

Your rights

As a data subject, you have specific legal rights with respect to the personal data we collect and process. Loginro respects your rights and upholds your interests.

• Withdraw consent: If the processing is carried out based on your consent, you can always withdraw it.
• Data rectification: If you notice that we have stored your personal data with any error, you can always request its rectification. We make reasonable efforts to keep personal data – that is used continuously and is in our possession or control - accurate, complete, current, and relevant, based on the latest available information we have.
• Restriction of data processing: If you find yourself in one of the following situations, you can ask us to restrict the processing of your data:
• You contest the correctness of personal data for the period in which we must verify its accuracy;
• The processing is illegal and you request the restriction of processing rather than deletion;
• We no longer need your personal data, but you request it to state, exercise, or defence a right; or
• You object to the processing while we verify that our legitimate reasons overtake your rights.
• Access your data: You can require information about the personal data we process, including information about what categories of data, what they are used for, where we collected them, if they are not collected directly from you and to whom they were disclosed (if any). You can obtain a copy from us, free of charge, with the personal data that we keep about you. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for abusive requests.
• Data portability: Upon request, and where technically possible, we will transfer your personal data to another operator, provided that processing is necessary for the performance of a contract. Instead of receiving a copy of your personal data, you may request the transfer of your data directly to another operator specified by you.

Remember!

Time period: We will try to answer your request within 30 days. However, the period might be extended regarding the request's complexity.

Restricting access: In certain situations, we may not be able to grant you access to all or part of your personal data due to restrictions provided by law. If we refuse your request to access your data, we will inform you of the reason for the refusal.

Impossibility of identification: In some cases, we may not be able to identify personal data due to the lack of identification elements provided in the application you send us. In such cases, if you do not provide additional information to identify you, we will not be able to comply with your request and allow you to exercise your legal rights, as described in this section.
