You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of our next-generation Bitdefender macOS security solution.

You will be responsible for:

• Overseeing system / product specifications and write / update test scenarios in our test management tool
• Developing, maintaining, documenting and executing test plans and test strategies for the Bitdefender macOS product suite;
• Running manual and automated test cases for every task, evaluate the results of test run and report the failed ones to development team and QA manager;
• Reporting issues through the bug tracking system, effectively following up and communicating test results;
• Identifying and troubleshooting internal and external issues based on market feedback;
• Conduct root-cause analysis and track defect resolution to completion;
• Perform review of all test suites necessary for the release of the product;
• Ensuring the product fulfils all target requirements before each release;
• Provide test report for every release of the product according with definition of done;
• Conduct product release procedure to the market;
• Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of improving the testing process, the quality of our products and increasing automation;
• Develop maintainable test automation frameworks, tools and automated test suites, in response to growing feature set;
• Write and update testing procedures specifications;
• Collaborate with other platform team representatives to extend the framework functionality and to increase test coverage according to the product needs;
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities;
• Ensure all the activities pertaining to software development life-cycle adhere to the quality standards of the organization;
• Provide support, coaching, training and career directions to others;
• Applies knowledge of industry trends and outlooks to achieve organizational goals and objectives;
• Forecasts and detects errors, gaps, and potential flaws.
• Persuades others to help achieve organizational goals and objectives;
• Stimulates creative ideas and perspectives that add value;
• Plans and prioritizes work to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
