Role
- Data engineering functions including, but not limited to: data extract, transformation, loading, integration in support of enterprise data infrastructures using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI);
- Analyse requirements and architecture specifications to create detailed design documentation;
- Work with data architects, business analysts to implement source to target mapping specifications;
- Use Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to create and maintain topology, interfaces, packages, scenarios and load plan components;
- Troubleshooting/defect fixing, ensuring all updates/changes are documented and retrofitted accordingly;
- Quality Assurance – ensure that all appropriate procedures are adhered to;
- Continuous improvement – review and improve technology processes, to enable high quality but quicker development for the business;
- Ensuring knowledge transfer is undertaken to support the Testing and Operational phases of the programme.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience working with ETL / ELT tools and techniques such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI);
- Senior ODI developer - 3+ years of specific experience designing and implementing data migration code using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI);
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL;
- Multiple project experience performing data migration;
- Expert knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle 12c;
- Knowledge of Linux shell scripting;
- Good client facing skills;
- Good English language skills.
