Role

  • Build/maintain and secure environments infrastructure to support development, testing and production
  • Drive security initiatives cross team
  • Working closely with the development teams to have best practices implemented
  • Design and implement effective monitoring of our backend systems
  • Tuning services based on experience and knowledge for optimal performance
  • Monitor and stay in control of our cloud hosting expenses
  • Collaborate with Garmin IT specialists to achieve seamless integration
  • Assist with problem investigation and resolution

Requirements

  • Experience with different Azure Services like Cosmos DB, Azure Cache, Key Vault, App Services, Kubernetes Services, and more (3+ years)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible, Terraform, Salt, Chef, and/or Puppet
  • Experience with CDN Providers like Akamai/Cloudflare
  • Experience with APM monitoring tools like AppDynamics, New Relic, Zabbix, Grafana and/or Dynatrace.
  • Previous work experience with DevOps and tools in support of it like Rundeck, Ansible, and Nexus
  • Good understanding of Git and CI/CD workflows
  • Demonstrates proficient knowledge of analysis, design and configuration of complex multi-tiered server applications
  • Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
  • Excellent English communication skills including both verbal and written
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science, Information Technology, any other relevant field OR performing a substantially similar DevOps/Release Engineering role.

Would be a plus:
 

  • Experience with moderately complex build and deployment automation
  • Experience with .NET Core (C#)
  • Having the AZ-500 certification is a big plus
