Garrett Motion Automotive Cyber Security Software developers make solutions to protect connected vehicles from being hacked. Garrett develops a multitude of security solutions which runs in the vehicle and also in the cloud. These solutions monitor the behavior of components on the vehicle and report the anomalies to the cloud based monitoring systems. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Product Owner to define the product, collaborate with development teams, generate the product vision and roadmap for the cloud based Security Operation Center software solution which will enable customers and OEMs to secure and monitor their vehicles.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define product vision, product roadmap for the security operation center software solution module
• Collaborate with product development team to set technology direction
• Lead the translation of high-level market requirements into specific development tasks for product development team
• Lead customer engagement discussions in regard to gathering requirements for the product and perform analysis on current solution and determine gaps.
• Typical work streams for the SOC solution could be many but not limited to data base development, user interface development, work flow development, incident detection and response module development, etc                                                                                                             
• Develop schedule and release plans for products and variants to support internal and external customers
• Communicate product release updates, escalations to identified stake holders within the business
• Manage conflicts and champion negotiations between development teams, customers and other stakeholders
• Identify competing products and technologies, establish competitive differentiation for Garrett products participate in industry trade shows and conferences to keep pulse on the state of the industry.
• Support business development activities with product demos for current and future customers
• Lead/Empower a cross-functional team of software developers, User Experience designers, Testers and Application Engineers to build the product
• Work closely with product management and senior management for product alignment and portfolio discussions
• Actively take part on Cyber security strategy and Annual project planning for related products
• Ensure strong coordination with other Product Owners and Technical leads
• Deliver high quality products compliant with product requirements, program schedules, development cost budgets, and applicable regional regulations
