This is a critical role within Connected Vehicle Business Development. Ultimately, the key is to deliver Customer Projects on-time and on Budget, leveraging a cross-functional Team and resulting in a high NPS. The Project Management (PM) Leader will also be responsible for ensuring global consistency through sharing of best practices and implementation of standard work/processes.

Responsibilities:

 Establish Project Governance Structure

The PM Leader will establish a Project Governance framework to have a structured approach to govern all Customer Projects, involving multiple Stakeholders (e.g., Customers, other PMs, BD, M&PM, Engineering, Quality, etc.). The purpose of Governance structure is to ensure that:

• The Projects are prioritized and aligned to short-and long-term goals of the business
• The right People have access to the right information to make the right decisions
• Projects are delivered on-time and on Budget and resources are utilized in the most efficient manner
   

Provide Management Reports

One of the core responsibilities of a Project Management Organization (PMO) is to centralize information and deliver it to the right Stakeholders, ensuring that  informed and timely decisions are made for the success of the Project. Following are some of the examples of reporting:

• Overall progress and health of Projects
• Status of milestones and deliverables across CoV
• Financial information about the budget, forecast, actuals, margins, etc.
• Project risks and progress on mitigating these risks

Plan and Schedule Resources Efficiently

• Ensure that Projects are aligned to operational and strategic objectives:
• Projects are selected and prioritized as per Strategic Operating Plan
• Resources are allocated and utilized as per Strategic Operating Plan
• KPIs are developed and implemented to track Projects
