Role
Responsabilities:
- Identify and design new solutions for achieving continuous testing principles
- Be a team player and take the initiative and drive / helps the team towards the common goal
- Implement and maintain automated scripts for deployment, testing and monitoring of applications
- Create a framework that can allows other engineers to write tests and run them with a press of a button
- Write documentation to reflect implementation
- Do open sessions with colleagues where new features will be explained
- Willing and able to provide on-call support and incident remediation if needed
Requirements
Profesional skills:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering or computer science preferred
- Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working using DevOps principles
- In depth knowledge about testing strategies and tools that can achieve continuous testing
- Strong commitment to standardization
- Proven knowledge of at least 1 programming language - java, javascript, python, go, etc
- Good understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience designing, deploying and managing IaC, PaaS
- Strong experience of CI/CD tools – Azure Devops / Jenkins / Gitlabl / etc
- Knowing agile methodology and being able to work by its principles
- A solid understanding of public cloud platforms – Azure / AWS / GCP / etc
- Hands-on experience using configuration management tools – Ansible / Salt / Chef / etc
- Solid understanding of container provisioning and management – Docker / Kubernetes / Openshift
- Experience working with monitoring tools such as elk / prometheus / datadog / zabbix / etc
- Fluent in english skills
- Integrity, team working skills, solution thinking and adaptability in a fast peaced environment are very important
Nice to have:
- Cloud certifications, preferred - Azure developer / administrator / devops
- Kubernetes certifications – CKA / CKAD
- Past projects where the person was involved – github projects, etc
