The Mission

The TouchPoint platform is a marketplace created at an international level in the ING infrastructure in order to enable value-creating interaction between producers and consumers of products and services (internal and external to the ING organization). Inside the TouchPoint platform, the OnePAM area represents the data layer and ensures one single source of truth for all party, agreement and permission data shared across all country and customer segments.

At the core of the OnePAM layer in the TouchPoint platform, the IBM InfoSphere MDM system contains all ING European parties and is the source of PSD processes for person/party data. We are responsible for the maintainability and distribute the data keeping always in mind the interests of the end customer. You will be working in close co-operation with stakeholders (feature squads) and you will be actively participating in the extension of the platform’s capabilities by deploying and configuring new features, components and releases in a controlled way. You take initiative in coordinating dependencies with other teams and you feel responsible for the quality and availability of your software.

Main responsibilities:

Following AGILE SCRUM methodology, you will be responsible for:

• Together with your team you are building and maintaining the MDM application and the OnePAM API layer that facilitates access to MDM. The MDM application contains all ING European parties and is the source of PSD processes for person/party data. We are responsible for the maintainability and distribute the data keeping always in mind the interests of the end customer. You will be working in close co-operation with stakeholders (feature squads) and you will be actively participating in the extension of the platform’s capabilities by deploying and configuring new features, components and releases in a controlled way. You take initiative in coordinating dependencies with other teams and you feel responsible for the quality and availability of your software.
• Building, Management and Development of the team (People Management)
• Delivering new functionality to the OnePAM Platform
• Maintain MDM within the OnePAM Platform
• Support the consumers of OnePAM (in delivering Data overview, and solving DQ issues for example)
• Hands-on (coding) and Technical guidance (Technical Lead)
• Handle delivery – identify, manage and escalate delivery issues and risks
• Ensure the individual development of your team members, so that they can successfully fulfill the new roles and the new processes
• Stimulate a culture of  learning by doing (incremental)
• Conduct performance appraisals with the team and follows up (administration, career management, performance management, etc.)
• Make proposals about remuneration policy and informs HR
• Supervise the general planning (schedules, holidays, etc.)
• Provide the controls and information on what we are improving e.g. Performance management
• Determine actions to avoid recurrent problems
• Stimulate a continuous delivery culture in terms of services and working conditions
• Support the applications in production environment that are under your team’s portfolio
