I graduated Computer Science in Polytechnics University of Bucharest in 2007 and I started my career in the last year of University as a .NET developer. Then my path moved to Java developer, team lead, delivery manager and now to head of development in 1&1 Internet Development. Even from a young age I knew I wanted to be an engineer - perhaps in a small part due to all my close ones being engineers and looking up to them, but mostly because I enjoyed informatics, algorithms and computer games. And I still do :).

As head of development in 1&1 Internet Development I lead a team of 9 developers and we are building 3 of the products from the portfolio of the portals (mail.com, gmx.com, gmx.de, web.de) that our company is managing.

In a chat I would gladly discuss topics like the journey from developer to team leader, building teams or in general working in today's IT environment with challenges and rewards.
